Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu prikazano je korištenje satelitskih snimki u svrhu dobivanja procjene temperature površine tla, računanja vegetacijskih indeksa i prikazivanje kritičnih područja. Korišten je Landsat 8 satelitski sustav jer sadrži termalni kanal. Istraživanje je izvršeno za područje Zagrebačke županije. Rezultati su dobiveni za cjelokupno područje županije. Usporedbom dobivenih rezultata vrlo su lako detektirana područja na kojima se nalaze promjene u vrijednosti temperature tla. Korištenje satelitskih podataka može uvelike biti od koristi u mnogim područjima, primjerice praćenje urbanizacije i planiranje izgradnje gradova, praćenje poljoprivrednih usjeva, kontrola deforestacije, proučavanje kakvoće voda i slično. Ovim se istraživanjem konkretno analiziralo na kojim se područjima pojavljuju toplinski otoci, mjesta na kojima je došlo do određene promjene u temperaturi, primjerice prilikom izgradnje, zatim praćenje vegetacije i određivanje mjesta na kojima je došlo do smanjenja iste. Također, prikazano je i područje koje ima veliki stupanj kritičnosti i ono područje koje je za vrijeme cijelog perioda poprimilo visok stupanj kritičnosti. Za kraj, potrebno je naglasiti kolika je sposobnost današnjih besplatnih softvera, primjerice QGIS softvera koji je uvelike olakšao izradu ovog diplomskog rada.

Abstract (english)

This thesis shows the use of satellite images for the purpose of obtaining an estimate of the temperature of the soil surface, calculating vegetation indexes and showing critical areas. The Landsat 8 satellite system was used because it contains a thermal channel. The research was carried out for the area of Zagreb County. The results were obtained for the entire area of the county. By comparing the obtained results, it was very easy to detect the areas where there are changes in the value of the soil temperature. The use of satellite data can be very useful in many areas, for example monitoring urbanization and planning the construction of cities, monitoring agricultural crops, controlling deforestation, studying water quality, etc. This research specifically analyzed in which areas heat islands appear, places where there was a certain change in temperature, for example during construction, then monitoring the vegetation and determining the places where it decreased. Also, the area that has a high degree of criticality and the area that acquired a high degree of criticality during the entire period are also shown. Finally, it is necessary to emphasize the capability of today's free software, for example the QGIS software, which greatly facilitated the creation of this thesis.
