Abstract

Rad je obuhvatio analizu procesa rekonstrukcije 3D modela kroz primjere različitih vrsta i tekstura metalnih objekata kao što su kip kupačice, majzekovog trokuta, te ukrasa - svijećnjaka, jabuke, srca i vaze. Ključne faze uključivale su postavljanje markera za postavljanje mjerila i fotogrametrijsku orijenaciju fotografija, korištenje maski za preciznost, tehnike generiranja oplošja modela i dodavanje teksture radi rekonstrukcije vjernih objekata visoke kvalitete. Važnost kontrasta između objekta i pozadine, kao i vrsta osvjetljenja istaknuti su kao ključni faktori u procesu rekonstrukcije. Analiza rezultata istaknula je izazove s reflektirajućim dijelovima te potrebu za prilagodbom tehnika ovisno o specifičnostima objekta. Rezultati su pokazali kako različiti pristupi, poput korištenja maski, manipuliranjem sjenama i kontrastom, mogu značajno utjecati na kvalitetu i točnost konačnog modela. Također, analiza pokazuje važnost iterativnog procesa popravaka i optimizacije kako bi se postigli najbolji mogući rezultati.

Abstract (english)

This paper encompasses the analysis of 3D model reconstruction process through examples of various types and textures of metal objects such as a statue of a bather, a Majzek's triangle, and ornaments - a candlestick, an apple, a heart, and a vase. Key stages included placing markers for scale setting and photo alignment, using masks for precision, mesh generation techniques, and adding texture to reconstruct accurate high-quality objects. The importance of contrast between the object and the background, as well as the type of lighting, were highlighted as critical factors in the reconstruction process. The analysis of the results emphasized challenges with reflective parts and the need to adapt techniques depending on the specifics of the object. The results demonstrated how different approaches, such as using masks, manipulating shadows, and contrast, can significantly impact the quality and accuracy of the final model. Additionally, the analysis emphasizes the importance of an iterative process of repairs and optimization to achieve the best possible results.
